October 15 is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. As I was thinking about today, and this month, my heart grieves for all my friends that have experienced the magnitude of such a deep and painful loss. A loss I can’t even comprehend. My heart is with all the women and families that are remembering today… this month… always. I am so, so deeply sorry.

During my post-abortion counseling, I came across the Abort73 website, and it’s become a ministry that’s close to my heart. The idea is simply to generate awareness, and I’m all about that. I recently illustrated this t-shirt for them, and wanted to share it with you. Feel free to pull the graphic off my blog or check out the t-shirt here.

Design Explanation (from Abort73.com)
The requirements of Micah 6:8 are especially pertinent to abortion. To act justly, we must work to protect the innocent human beings who are being aborted all around us. To love mercy, we must extend kindness and compassion to those who have aborted. And to walk humbly, we must remember that each of us has failed to live up to this standard in a thousand different ways.

I’m not trying to make a huge political or spiritual statement here, trust me. Here’s hoping that justice, love, and mercy are things that we can all hope for.

Thank you, Jesus, for second and third and millionth chances, and thank you for the promise of Heaven.
love, lindsay

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been ONE MONTH since I last checked in! Crazy, how time flies! I will tell you, it’s been quite a month. Things are happening, people! Here are just some little big things that happened this month: Eva Love is now 10 months old. Holy cow. She’s amazing. She is so so so funny and full of life and I could stare at her and make her belly laugh all day. LOVE. // We launched my husband Dugan’s website: DUGANSHERBONDY.COM. Seriously, I couldn’t be more proud. He’s amazing and I can’t wait to see what God does with his site and his talent. // I finished up about 30 (THIRTY!!!!) products to add to my new shop. Most of them are holiday stationery items and some new art prints and canvases, plus a new stamp design and more to come. I am BEYOND THRILLED to share everything with you!!! It’s work I’m super proud of and I hope you love it as much as I do. (Get ready for some gilded goodness!). // My friend Heather is moving her print shop (after like, 50 years!) to a new location, and that’s where our new studio will be. My pieces were some of the last things run at the old location, and now everything is all packed up for the move! // Last week I got together with my amazing friend Laura of Lark Photography and she did the new product photography for the shop. Gosh, she’s good. // And just today, my good friend Mike installed some shelving at the new studio! Peach wall, check. Industrial shelves, check. Heaps of pretty paper to stack on the shelves, check check check…

SO with that, just a few more updates:
1. I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about the O Holy Night canvas. Yep!–it’s still for sale and you can purchase it here: O Holy Night Canvas
2. There will be customizable holiday cards, stationery, and stamps in my new online shop, but other than that, I’m not going to be taking any completely custom work, envelope addressing, or non-editorial hand lettering inquiries until after the holidays. I hate to say no, but I know that I can’t give you the full attention you deserve while I’m trying to launch the shop. Thanks so much for your understanding and check back in the new year!
3. The Lindsay Letters Shop will be officially live by the time you finish Trick-or-Treating (or Harvest Festivaling… Or boycotting… or whatever it is that you do). SO, www.lindsayletters.com will actually be the virtual home for the new shop, and my blog will be relocating to www.lindsaylettersblogs.com. So for those of you writing me worried that you will miss the shop opening, don’t be! If you keep checking back here, you won’t miss it! (Some product sneak peeks to come!)

Take care, and happy Friday! xo, l

Hi everyone! Can you believe it’s almost September?! Where the heck did it go? I got my first Apple Orchard flyer and was honestly a little sad, but then it was 97 degrees here again, and I remembered that just because my girlfriends are packing school lunches and the pool hours are cut, that doesn’t mean it’s winter already.

I’ve been getting a ton of emails about the Shop and about custom work, so I wanted to write with a quick update.
The SHOP: Since the Lindsay Letters Shop launched a few months ago, it has been super successful–Thank God! And THANK YOU!!! Actually, it’s been a little too successful for the way I set the shop up, and so I have taken the shop down temporarily. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’m working on some sweet holiday cards, as well as some other cool products, and we want to be able to manage all of the shop orders to the best of our ability. And this means getting a a brand sparkling NEW shop up and running! I am so SO excited!!!! I’m thrilled to be working with the team at Aeolidia and I cannot wait to see what unfolds. The new Lindsay Letters online store will be up and running early to mid October. At that time, you’ll be able to purchase your custom holiday cards, the O Holy Night Canvas, new iPhone cases, and other fun things I’m excited to share. {In plenty of time for Christmas!}

October is a busy month! It’s also when we will be moving to our new studio! So with the new online shop in the works, and with the move to the new studio, I have to announce that I’m not currently taking any non-editorial custom work for the rest of the year. I absolutely love to do custom work, and I will miss it terribly. But for this season, I need to focus on the shop and getting you some super cool holiday cards and gifts.

I think that’s it for now! Keep getting your holiday card photos ready and make sure you subscribe to Lindsay Letters to keep posted! And thank you SO incredibly much for all your kind words, support, and business. I’m blessed beyond belief to do work that I love for great people. xo, l

It has been a wonderful two weeks. I have loved watching you. I’ve been inspired, excited, and convicted (get off the couch and your laptop, Lindsay)… (side note: while on the treadmill last week, I thought I would watch swimming for motivation. Turns out it just stressed me out the whole time. Ironically, Food Network is better TV for longer distance. Who knew?) Athletes, you are a beautiful representation of what God created our bodies to be able to do with hard work, dedication, and diligence. Can’t wait for Rio… xo, l

It’s almost this weekend! New things in my life this week: Eva Love is officially a crawling superstar. She is everywhere, oh my goodness!!! I chopped all my hair off last night. Pinterest made me want beautiful, beachy, long hair but I had to face reality–I’m just not cut out for long hair. So off it went. I feel lighter already. Funny how hair can be a metaphor! Also, due to popular demand, I added a cranberry version of the O Holy Night canvas to the *Shop*. And finally, the last new little thing is this pretty envelope. I recently had the privilege of working on a shoot with my friends at Southern Weddings Magazine and Pitbulls and Posies. {I cannot wait to share that shoot with you!} In the meantime, I created this envelope lettering style specifically for that shoot, and I liked it so much that I wanted to offer it to all of you!Apple Brown Betty, you say? Yep. It’s a delightful, brown sugary Southern dessert, so I’ve named this style the Brown Betty in honor of sugar and spice and Southern comfort. Yum. Pass the ice cream. If you’re sending invitations and are interested in having your envelopes lettered in this style, click here for more information. Have a wonderful Friday! xo, l
