lazy braid bun

I have been doing a lot of this lately:

I would say I’ve been a busy bee, but that sounds way too cute. And, well, I definitely haven’t been the cute kind of busy. When I don’t get ready, I really don’t. My bummy clothes aren’t cute Gap Body sweats and pashminas. They’re true, paint-covered, hole-y, sorority and softball, I-hope-I-don’t-run-in-to-anyone-while-I-run-this-errand clothes. As in, I don’t know that I’ve purchased any new lounge wear since college… and I’m definitely 29. Shoot. {All of my friends are laughing to themselves, nodding, saying “yes, linds, you could really could use a hole-less pair of sweats…” So is my mom. (Sorry, Mom).}. Also, I have naturally curly-wavy-large hair. So to blow dry my hair and get all ready when I’m under deadline is probably, well, not happening. It’s kind of okay because I love messy hair, and the other day, since it was the 3rd messy-bun-day in a row, I thought I’d mix it up with a mini french braid. You’ve probably seen that a lot lately back into a pony, but I’d never seen it in a bun, so I thought I’d share. Give it a try the next bummy day you have! xo, linds
