pretty pretty poska!

A few weeks ago, my dear friend Louise Poska {once boss, now friend} called and asked if I’d help out with, well, the holiday project of my realistic dreams. She owns the greatest, most eclectic retail shop in Rockford, Illinois called Poska. Her shop is filled with all kinds of {quirky, edgy, beautiful, unique} accessories for your home, garden, and for you… She has an impeccable eye and I was honored to work on this holiday invitation for her.

the details: the ink color {oh, RGB…} is actually PMS 457. The invites were beautifully letterpressed by my new friends at Flywheel Letterpress. The Poska identity is a variation of their existing logo, with Louise’s signature robin’s egg blue egg. In order to make the invitation feel personal, we hand-colored the egg on all {1,300!} invitations. {Thanks to the lovely Leah for letting me solicit her help}.

Stay tuned for a post-event-post after the festivities this Saturday! {And if you live in the Chicagoland area, put on your buggy-ridin-boots and come on out!} xo, linds
